Lawrence Steven Meyers

Lawrence formed Meyers Media Group in August 2011. Lawrence has worked both in the international distribution sector as well as being a producer.   His one previous foray into television in helping put together the financing for Dean Devlin's TV movie THE LIBRARIAN, for which he served as a co-producer, led to multiple sequels as well as an eventual TV series which ran on TNT for several years. As a feature film Producer Lawrence helped put together the films HUGO POOL (Sean Penn and Robert Downey Jr.), AN AMERICAN HAUNTING (Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek) and also the highly critically acclaimed as well as Oscar nominated film UNFAITHFUL (Richard Gere and Diane Lane) which was Directed by Adrian Lyne for 20th Century Fox Films and New Regency Pictures.

Lawrence joined Lorimar Motion Pictures where he had an nearly 10 year relationship serving in various capacities culminating in co-running the international division responsible for all media for their feature films. Lawrence also started and ran the international division for New World Pictures becoming at that time the youngest person to head an international division of a motion picture company. Lawrence also served as head of international distribution for Morgan Creek, Segal Nasso Films, and Media 8 Entertainment. 

Lawrence served as Executive Vice-President of Trilogy Entertainment which included various areas of responsibility including successfully negotiating an overhead and development deal for Trilogy with United Artists, a division of MGM. During his international distribution career Lawrence was involved in the international distribution of the films; SYBIL, YOU LIGHT UP MY LIFE, THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE, THE PHILADELPHIA EXPERIMENT, ACE VENTURA, ROBIN HOOD PRINCE OF THIEVES, THE MORNING AFTER as well as nearly over 400 other films. At Lorimar Lawrence was also responsible for the international distribution of Michael Jackson's MOONWALKER working closely with Michael Jackson making it the first and only music video film to ever be released theatrically world-wide to incredible success beating its completion in every country at the time of its' theatrical release.
